Ask for Media developed a comprehensive youth soccer team management platform designed for coaches, assistants, parents, and volunteers to create and manage their clubs, teams, and promote their players. The platform features personalized profile pages for players, where they can update their details, upload video highlights, and track their academic performance, such as GPA. Soccer recruiters have dedicated access, allowing them to follow players, view detailed information, and access contact details. The UX and Design team have reached out to coaches, parents, players and volunteers to run a battery of discovery research sessions. After all the feedback was collected, the UX team provided Wireframes and Prototypes for testing. The hand off to developers successfully kicked off the development process. As the platform continues to grow, Ask for Media has implemented an Agile process using JIRA to coordinate efforts among designers, project managers, and developers, ensuring the continuous improvement of the platform. Being part of the development process, Ask for Media takes pride in contributing to the growth and development of young athletes, helping them secure better educational opportunities through soccer.
This is an example on how we manage the project using the Agile Methodology .
Developers are assigned tasks with requirement details and visual examples for the UI. They then complete the task according to the refinements and estimates previously entered from the design review and slicing sessions.
These are some samples of the project resources when designers were working on the Wireframes for testing.
